The Rotary Club of Whitby’s Gourmet Food Truck Frenzy is all fired up for its celebration of curbside cuisine taking place May 25th and 26th at Iroquois Park in Whitby.
With its continued success, Food Truck Frenzy Whitby has become the Finest Foodie Festival in Durham Region. Foodies and families alike can enjoy the best food and entertainment the region has to offer. This year’s festival features an impressive line-up of curbside chefs and their tasty creations, local Artisan Vendors, talented musical performances and family fun activities.
This annual food truck festival presents more than 30 food trucks that serve up an array of decadent comfort food, savoury international dishes and tantalizing sweet treats. The event also features some of the finest local food artisans, including 5 artisan butter tart vendors who are an exciting new addition to this year’s festival.
“Our event keeps getting better each year. What started six years ago as a celebration of food truck fare, and we have now grown into the Finest Foodie Festival in the Durham Region. We’ve combined the best street food from across the GTA, talented local artisans and performance artists, and an amazing selection of local artisans, including 5 butter tart vendors, to create a weekend long festival for families and foodies. There isn’t a better place to get your food on! ” said Geno Diraddo, of the Rotary Club of Whitby.
Food truck fans can enjoy the delicious fare of returning favourites like: Stuttering John’s Smokehouse, Tdots Naansense, Apple Fritter and Buster’s Sea Cove and delightful new food experiences from, Urban Smoke Fusion BBQ, Mextache, Melt Down Cheesery and Eva’s Original Chimney cakes.
