"Gourmet food trucks are an exciting curbside food"
The Rotary Club of Whitby's Food Truck Frenzy was inspired by the popularity of the food truck trend. The organization is bringing the best of curbside cuisine to Durham Region for families from across Southern Ontario to enjoy.
On May 14 (11am – 11pm) and May 15 (11am – 8pm), take your taste buds for a ride and enjoy the creative twists on traditional and international favourites like poutine, pasta, and pizza. Savour the food at The Rotary Club of Whitby's 3rd Annual Gourmet Food Truck Frenzy, held in the parking lot of the Iroquoiis Park Arena.
The Rotary Club of Whitby's Food Truck Frenzy is now in its 3rd year. This year's event takes place on Saturday May 14 and Sunday, May 15 at Iroquois Park Centre in Whitby. This year, the event will be open longer on both days. Hours for this year's event are 11 am - 11 pm on Saturday and 11am - 8pm on Sunday. This year's key sponsor is Nurse Chevrolet Cadillac.
The event will be bigger and better than ever! This year more than 30 gourmet food trucks will be participating, 10 more than last year. And we have added 10 Aritsanal Vendors, plus Brock Street Brewery a local Whitby brewery, so foodies can savour delicious food and drink, grown and crafted right here in Durham Region. Organizers anticipate over 30,000 will attend this 2-day food festival with proceeds going to Durham Region charities. Great food, great fun, a great cause to support.
